Lantower Luxury Living is currently hiring for a Field Maintenance Support role to support the maintenance and facilities management and provide technical and business training for various Lantower Class A apartment communities in Dallas. Responsibilities

  • Trains newly hired maintenance team members during onboarding on technical skills including, but not limited, to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repair skills
  • Completes special projects as may be assigned and prioritized by the Community Manager, Regional Vice President, or Facilities leadership.
  • Provides other training to maintenance staff as needed including on company processes, systems, and business and financial acumen.
  • Provides coverage for maintenance function of properties during employee vacations, leaves, and vacancies. During coverage duties include the following
    • Troubleshoot and perform all maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance installation and carpentry.
    • Completes assigned work orders generated from resident request for service, as well as preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
    • Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
    • Inspects vacated apartments and perform duties to restore apartments to “make-ready” status. Ensure a high quality of work has been performed.
    • Correctly document work performed on a service request and ensure all service requests are completed in a timely manner.
    • Inspects the exterior of the property. Perform building and common area upkeep daily
    • Performs effective emergency maintenance (after-hours) as required.
    • Complies with company safety standards, OSHA and Fair Housing regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2+ years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
  • HVAC certification is required.
  • Ability to train others on technical and business skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well with others.
  • Strong knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
  • Energetic and flexible.
  • A strong eye for detail. 
  • Takes pride in their work and does their job to the best of their ability.
  • Ability to drive to various properties in the area for Maintenance responsibilities.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas and be able to push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and up to one hundred (100) pounds with assistance for installation and removal of appliances.
